Exonicus Trauma Simulator is working on “Safe use of personal protective equipment (PPE)” professional training and simulation for health care professionals

Exonicus Trauma Simulator in collaboration with Rigas Stradins University Medical Education and Technology Center is working on “Safe use of personal protective equipment (PPE)” professional training and simulation for health care professionals and volunteers to train and empower those on conscious risk mitigation by COVID-19 infection.

Health care professionals, volunteers and citizens with a risk of contact with the COVID-19 infected person need to be trained on choice of proper protective clothing and use of personal protective equipment.

The training and simulation program for personal computers and smart devices should enable training for any kind of user group. The solution should provide safety education, training and assessment accessible to all  target groups at any time and at any place. This approach would help to establish a seamless distribution of the content via smartphone, tablet, computer and even a smart TV with up-to-date training material while increasing the range of the audience  and the regularity of training.

The content will serve two educational levels:

  • Training application for smart devices like pc computer for individual education and knowledge assessment.
  • Training and simulation in Virtual Reality to enforce teamwork and create awareness of critical situations in collaboration scenarios.

The new product will supplement existing Exonicus Trauma Simulator and will be offered as update.
